What is TalkAdoption?
Adopted young people tell us they want to get together and talk about what adoption is like for them.
TalkAdoption groups meet monthly and during school holidays. It is an opportunity to meet and socialise with other adopted people through a range of fun and creative activities including graffiti art, creative arts, drama, music, film-making and more!
TalkAdoption groups also offer you the chance to express your emotions and share your experiences with others from similar backgrounds, helping to explore your identity and build self confidence.

Information for Professionals
TalkAdoption is a national programme that offers adopted children and young people a safe space to meet. It aims to improve young people's self-confidence and reduce their sense of isolation through group activities and discussion. It also provides an important opportunity for children and young people to have their voices heard by the wider community, by professionals involved in adoption, their peers, and teachers at school.
We are generously supported by many local charitable trusts as well as larger organisations such as the Big Lottery Fund and BBC Children in Need.
There are a range of services offered including workshops, family days and monthly sessions.
